Unlike many other ‘lodges’ which have wood on the outside and plasterboard walls on the inside – our lodges have a genuine ‘log cabin’ appeal because the walls are made of real logs, all the way through to the inside. So you get the true log cabin experience of warmth and comfort at the start of the day and a real home from home feeling on your return at the end of the day.
As unique as our lodges are, our aim is to make your holiday in our lodges as enjoyable as possible. We have endeavoured to supply everything that you may need during your stay with us. We are here pretty well most of the time should you need anything – whether you would like to use the bbq or need walking maps or suggestions on where to eat or visit.

Once you have arrived and we have shown you round your lodge we leave you in peace, however, we are close by, but we don’t watch over you!
Our bedding and towels are of a high quality and make for a luxurious stay. All the furniture is leather and all the kitchens and bathrooms have recently been upgraded.
Most of the mattresses were made especially for us with memory foam and we use protectors on them all, at all times – and these are laundered at each change-over. There is also an additional layer of protection between the protector and the bottom sheet. This not only protects the mattresses it means you are sleeping on a mattress that has not made contact with anyone else!
On the outside, having recently renewed the verandas, we have also installed anti-slip treads.
We are located at South Trew Stables on a site occupying about 11 acres and have direct access through our fields onto the Ruby Way from where guests can enjoy local walks.
