Enjoyed our stay in the Bluebells cabin. Weather could have been better, but we were able to sit outside a couple of evenings and enjoy the beautiful view and listen to the birds. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Arrival / check in was easy. Andrew met us and showed us the Cabin. Everything you need to know is in the book in the Cabin.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Excellent base for Devon/North Cornwall. Fabulous hosts.
We feel totally relaxed and refreshed after staying in this beautiful lodge for a week. The location is so peaceful. We saw a deer in the adjacent field and amazing star lit dark skies. The long distance views are beautiful and it’s a great base for exploring Devon and North Cornwall.

We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. Views are amazing and wildlife abounds from birds to rabbits don’t forget to look out for the bats at dusk. Centrally based so easy access to the north and the south coasts and all that offers. Thanks again to Andrew and Sally for the opportunity to stay at such a great location.

Such a beautiful place sad to come home. Was so peaceful. Loved having morning coffee outside. Having such a big outdoor space with outdoor games was so nice. Would love to book again in the future and would recommend to anyone.

The host Andrew met us and was lovely and welcoming. The lodge itself was just perfect, everywhere was spotless and it was so well equipped with high quality items. The beds were comfortable, the views to die for and I really cannot think of any negatives. We will definitely be back and I can recommend this lodge to anyone to stay in. Perfect

This was our second time at Bluebell Lodge, we returned because it’s exactly what we needed - beautiful scenery, quiet location, self-contained space to relax. Andrew was always on call for any messages and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here again. I’ll repeat what I said last time… One of the best stocked Airbnbs we’ve been too. It’s the little things that count but multiple cooking utensils, decent amount of pots and pans, herbs and spices, blankets - so well thought out!

Perfect lodge with beautiful views
We were stunned when we walked in as the lodge itself is amazing and the view was even better than we imagined from the photos we'd seen online. The lodge has everything you need and is very comfortable. We went in the middle of summer so we spent a lot of time on day trips but we'd happily go again in winter and spend more time in the comfort of the lodge playing games etc. It was a nice bonus having the sports stuff available next to the lodge (table tennis, swing ball and a small badminton set). There was also a rabbit burrow next to the lodge so we marvelled being able to watch them and lots of little birds. The location is good as it's in a quiet bit of country but shops aren't too far away and there's plenty to do in the area. I highly recommend the lodge and we can't wait to go back!

We stayed in Brambles Lodge with our two children (aged 3 & 6). Such a peaceful location and lovely views, kids loved watching the rabbits in the mornings! The lodge is really well equipped and has literally everything you need and more! Outside toys and table tennis were great for the kids. Excellent gas BBQ provided which we made use of on our last night. We hope to return soon, thanks for a fab break!

Lovely stay at Dartmoor view lodges
Lovely week away at Dartmoor view lodges. Our stay was in Bluebell lodge, one of three lodges in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful location. Superb views over to Dartmoor and lovely lush green surroundings. The lodge was spotless clean, with a very comfy bed which ensured a great night's sleep. Constant hot water was available for showering etc. There was a very well equipped kitchen, with everything you would require for self catering purposes. During our stay, we visited many different areas, by car, including some beautiful beaches, Bude, Woolacombe and Saunton sands, truly lovely beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and we would not hesitate to return to Dartmoor View Lodges, or indeed to recommend this lovely accommodation. The only thing wrong was that it ended too soon! We hope to be back shortly and would like to thank Andrew and Sally for providing the perfect accommodation and location for our holiday in beautiful Devon 😊 Best wishes Elaine

Just returned from a week at Buttercup lodge and we loved it perfect tranquil location for some much needed R&R lovely to wake up and sit outside taking in the views with a coffee. Everything was perfect for us in the lodge and Andrew and Sally were great hosts will definitely be returning one day.

Booked last minute and was an excellent choice. Great facilities, all that we needed. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Also had a well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The view was also spectacular!

We have just returned from a week stay at Brambles lodge. The lodge was very cosy, especially with the log burner on. There are some beautiful walks surrounding the lodge as well as easy access to Dartmoor and some incredible beaches.
We hope to return next year on our annual visit to Devon.

Stayed in Bluebells for 17 nights in May. It, very much, exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable beds and reclining sofa’s and abundant hot water.It was equipt to such a level that I can assure future guests don’t worry; if you forget anything,they’ll be one in a drawer. The view is what it says on the tin,parking,Wi Fi and everything was spot on. We also were grateful to avoid the hasssle of the last 2 or 3 mile being down a single track road !! We will personally highly recommend the Dartmoor View Lodges (as you may have guessed ).The owners live on site to deal with any issues—Although for 17 days we did not have any problem.

This lodge is absolute perfection. It was immaculately clean with comfortable rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The space was a good size and the large deck was perfect for taking in the stunning scenery, which can also be appreciated from every window (especially early in the morning, when you can enjoy watching wild bunnies and horses eat their breakfast!) The lodge is bright and airy, peaceful and quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful but let you get on with enjoying your stay. The location is great for both the beaches of Bude and surrounds and Dartmoor National Park, with a stables a few miles down the road. I can’t find a single fault with this property. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay again. If you’re thinking of staying, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing views. Tip-top chalet !
We loved everything about the chalet from its layout to linen and towels provided. The hosts have thought everything through for utter ease, fridge, freezer, cutlery, crockery, even bin bags, tea towels and washing up liquid. They were also on hand during our stay for any questions. The main windows and doors in the living space all face forward onto uninterrupted views. It’s just outstanding. When we went, the buttercups were filling the meadow in abundance, it was like a painting . We enjoyed local beaches namely Bude and some nearby attractions ... riverdart country park ( 1hr) as well as Exeter. We were lucky with a sunny week and I think this added to the experience of enjoying the settling to its fullest.

We stopped in Brambles Lodge for a month recently and can’t recommend it enough. My husband Is disabled and was struggling with the shower so had a chat with Andrew and he turned up with handrails for inside the shower. Nothing is too much trouble.
So clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to book for next year. Thank you Andrew and Sally for an amazing stay.

Location is perfect to some great attractions. An hours drive at the most. Buttercups lodge was perfectly equipped for our family, 2 adults, 2 kids 12 and 17 and our dog. FREE WiFi! Laundry facilities 30 sec walk from lodge. Very very peaceful at night, we all slept very soundly the 7 days we were there. Grass area surrounding the lodges has table tennis, swing ball, badminton and most garden games available and freely accessible. GAS BBQ is available to use between the three lodges. There are paddocks surrounding the lodges and their horses love apples and carrots so be sure to go equipped. Nemo and Rosie are their names. The lodge itself was very clean and very comfortable and had everything you needed to cook for yourselves. The beds were lovely and comfy. Beautiful views from the lodges. Sally and Andrew are there should you need them, otherwise you just saw them going about their daily lives. Lovely place and we will return.

Peaceful Getaway
Arrived to discover the accommodation was a truly wonderful traditional log cabin with all mod cons and the most spectacular view across to Dartmoor. Andrew gave us a warm friendly welcome with some useful advice on local walks. The location did not disappoint and enabled us to fully relax in the beautiful Devon countryside. We heartily recommend this accommodation for those seeking a good central base with easy access to the moors and the coast. We would hope to return in the not to distant future.

Good holiday
My family and I stayed at Bluebell Cottage over Easter. Whilst the weather wasn’t brilliant we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Plenty to do. It proved a good location for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. The accommodation was excellent- spotlessly clean with a lovely log burner which soon warmed the lodge up. Andrew and Sally were very accommodating hosts and the children loved helping with the horses. We will certainly be returning and I am happy to recommend the lodges.

We liked being here so much we have booked to return next year!
Bluebells Lodge was ideal for us. Nature was in charge here, whether it was expressed as variations in sunlight and weather on the views towards Dartmoor, the soothing sounds of birdsong and bees, or the many kinds of wildflower to de discovered in the fields and hedgerows. The lodge itself was spacious with high quality furnishings and equipment. We were very comfortable. Andrew and Sally were very friendly and helpful.
