The kitchen has just had an upgrade so we can now offer a dishwasher and tall fridge/freezer as well as additional storage. With outstanding views, peace and tranquillity abound in the beautiful rolling hills of the Devon countryside. The perfect lodge for your pets too – The Ruby Trail is accessible through our fields and there’s plenty of room in the surrounding fields to exercise your dog. The veranda incorporates a dog-friendly gate.
Brambles is a beautiful self-catering lodge which sleeps four, it has a double bed and two single beds. It is the most secluded of the three lodges having its own access track and benefits from open land to the side.
We are very lucky to have an abundance of wildlife and birdlife and get incredibly dark night skies due to very little light pollution.
Stunning views and pet friendly, Brambles at Dartmoor View Lodges welcomes up to 2 small to medium sized dogs as well. 7/14 night bookings are available in Brambles, Saturday to Saturday in mid/high season, and flexible start and finish days for weeks or short breaks in low season.

Also the lodge and site are not really suitable for very young children so no-one under age 4 please unless by prior agreement.

RENTAL NOTES
Check-In:
- Check-in from 4pm / check-out is 10am. Please call 01409 231390 or 07890 072515 if you are likely to require a late check-in.
- Please Note: There is a £50 security/damage deposit payable – refunded within 3 days of your holiday providing there is no damage.
Payment:
- We take just a £100 deposit, paid at the time of booking online to secure lodge and the dates you want (subject to email booking confirmation).

Once cleared payment has been made, email confirmation that your holiday has been successfully booked will be sent to you.
Balance Payment:
- We will send you an invoice for your final payment 6 weeks before the date of your holiday, along with details of how to find us. If the booking is within 6 weeks, the total amount, including security/damage deposit, will be due at the time of booking.
Dogs Welcome:
- Dogs are welcome in this lodge, the charge is £10 per night for the first dog and £5 per night for a second.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Excellent base for Devon/North Cornwall. Fabulous hosts.
We feel totally relaxed and refreshed after staying in this beautiful lodge for a week. The location is so peaceful. We saw a deer in the adjacent field and amazing star lit dark skies. The long distance views are beautiful and it’s a great base for exploring Devon and North Cornwall.

Such a beautiful place sad to come home. Was so peaceful. Loved having morning coffee outside. Having such a big outdoor space with outdoor games was so nice. Would love to book again in the future and would recommend to anyone.

Perfect lodge with beautiful views
We were stunned when we walked in as the lodge itself is amazing and the view was even better than we imagined from the photos we'd seen online. The lodge has everything you need and is very comfortable. We went in the middle of summer so we spent a lot of time on day trips but we'd happily go again in winter and spend more time in the comfort of the lodge playing games etc. It was a nice bonus having the sports stuff available next to the lodge (table tennis, swing ball and a small badminton set). There was also a rabbit burrow next to the lodge so we marvelled being able to watch them and lots of little birds. The location is good as it's in a quiet bit of country but shops aren't too far away and there's plenty to do in the area. I highly recommend the lodge and we can't wait to go back!

We stayed in Brambles Lodge with our two children (aged 3 & 6). Such a peaceful location and lovely views, kids loved watching the rabbits in the mornings! The lodge is really well equipped and has literally everything you need and more! Outside toys and table tennis were great for the kids. Excellent gas BBQ provided which we made use of on our last night. We hope to return soon, thanks for a fab break!

We have just returned from a week stay at Brambles lodge. The lodge was very cosy, especially with the log burner on. There are some beautiful walks surrounding the lodge as well as easy access to Dartmoor and some incredible beaches.
We hope to return next year on our annual visit to Devon.

This lodge is absolute perfection. It was immaculately clean with comfortable rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The space was a good size and the large deck was perfect for taking in the stunning scenery, which can also be appreciated from every window (especially early in the morning, when you can enjoy watching wild bunnies and horses eat their breakfast!) The lodge is bright and airy, peaceful and quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful but let you get on with enjoying your stay. The location is great for both the beaches of Bude and surrounds and Dartmoor National Park, with a stables a few miles down the road. I can’t find a single fault with this property. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay again. If you’re thinking of staying, you won’t be disappointed!

We stopped in Brambles Lodge for a month recently and can’t recommend it enough. My husband Is disabled and was struggling with the shower so had a chat with Andrew and he turned up with handrails for inside the shower. Nothing is too much trouble.
So clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to book for next year. Thank you Andrew and Sally for an amazing stay.
