We dont normally leave reviews about our holiday, but the it would be wrong not to leave feedback.
The lodge was fantastic, although each room has heaters, they are not needed due to the thickness of the wood. these are not caravans made to look like lodges, these are proper lodges.
Coming from essex, we wanted peace and quiet, and that is what you get, just the sounds of the countryside! however, perfect to explore the north Devon coast and a bit longer drive to go to the south Devon coast, great location.
Beds were very comfortable, beautiful view to look at while while sitting on the veranda having a glass of wine in the evening. would highly recommend.
Thank you for a lovely week.

Bluebells Lodge was ideal for us. Nature was in charge here, whether it was expressed as variations in sunlight and weather on the views towards Dartmoor, the soothing sounds of birdsong and bees, or the many kinds of wildflower to de discovered in the fields and hedgerows. The lodge itself was spacious with high quality furnishings and equipment. We were very comfortable. Andrew and Sally were very friendly and helpful. We liked being here so much we have booked to return next year!

Had a lovely time in these absolutely fabulous lodges. Total chill factor. Quiet, peaceful and amazing views. Luxurious accommodation - leather sofas, best bed ever, toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Folding dog/child gate provided so dog could go outside without escaping-brilliant idea. I could go on forever. Thank you Andy and Sally for an amazing holiday. Good luck with the horsey holidays!!

Just returned from a wonderful week in Buttercups lodge. We received complimentary milk, tea bags, coffee and cake on arrival, adding to the very warm welcome from Andrew and Sally. The lodge has everything you could need, including a newly fitted kitchen and games for children. The field within the ground is ideal for dog exercise, being fenced in and leading to a quiet cycle lane. Hatherleigh is a small town close by which has a Coop and an excellent fish & chip shop. Other places of interest we found were Dingles Vintage Fair, Valley of rocks & Lynton and the Exmoor pony centre. The owners were always keen to offer help and have information on local walks on request. We would love to return soon.

We stayed in Brambles for a week in September (couple & a dog). The log cabin is great, beautifully furnished & extremely well equipped. The verandah was really good for the evenings & the views out across rolling countryside & the moors beyond are stunning. Andrew & Sally were very friendly & helpful but not intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. We used the cabin as a base to explore Devon. We visited both North and South coasts and Dartmoor & had some fabulous walks, cream teas & pub meals during our week. Hope to return sometime soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bluebells. A delightful place to stay whether you want to walk, explore Devon or just chill. The view across to Dartmoor is stunning. Bluebells was spotless inside and out. The inside is tastefully furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The bed linen and towels also a high standard and spotless. Andrew & Sally the owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. A break at Bluebells is highly recommended by us.

We have just spent a week at Bluebell lodge and what a wonderful time we had there with the kids. The view was amazing and the place nice and quiet (at least until the kids got going) It was exactly what we wanted and a perfect get away for the week.

Andrew and Sally (along with Pippa and Elsa) were also lovely and helped to make our stay a special time away with the family.

Highly recommended and definitely a place to go back to.
